I am e-mailing to request access as a educational member to your materials database. I am currently a junior in Materials Science and Engineering at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. I am currently enrolled in a materials selection course in which the accuracy and reliability of materials property data is of great importance. As such I believe that access to your database will be a great asset to my studies in this course as well as future courses. Thank you very much for your time,
Andrew J. Markle

Socie (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, U.S.), founder of eFatigue.com. eFatigue offers fatigue calculators, material databases, stress concentration factors, training, consulting. Weblinks are already exchanged between eFatigue and MATDAT.COM and initial steps are taken towards integrating our material properties database with calculators offered at eFatigue.
