MATDAT.COM has partnered with eFatigue!

22. August 2012.

During "Ph.D. summer school on Multiaxial fatigue of engineering materials and components" organized by IGF (Gruppo Italiano Frattura) we have met with prof. Darrell F. Socie (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, U.S.), founder of eFatigue.com.

eFatigue offers fatigue calculators, material databases, stress concentration factors, training, consulting. Weblinks are already exchanged between eFatigue and MATDAT.COM and initial steps are taken towards integrating our material properties database with calculators offered at eFatigue.

Hello,

I am e-mailing to request access as a educational member to your materials database. I am currently a junior in Materials Science and Engineering at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. I am currently enrolled in a materials selection course in which the accuracy and reliability of materials property data is of great importance. As such I believe that access to your database will be a great asset to my studies in this course as well as future courses. Thank you very much for your time,

Andrew J. Markle

New search form is implemented and ready for you to use it! It´s easier to use. The old one will be used as a basis for advanced search option. We are working on it.

2. August 2012.

We have updated list and logotypes of companies and universities that our users come from.

20. July 2012.

We plan to implement 2 versions of database search forms - Simple and Expert mode. Switching between them will be easy, and this should help occasional and nonexpert users search our database easier.
